Amazing food and even more amazing service! I always hype this place up to my friends and we try to come as often as possible being from Winston Salem. The inside is quaint and friendly. I suggest getting the Roma spinach pizza and the fried ravioli!

Have been searching for a good NY Pizza for a long time. After reading an article in the local paper that mentioned Devil's Pizzeria (Indy: https://indyweek.com/food-and-drink/40-a-day-in-durham-20-years-later/) we decided to give it a try. We were so glad we did! We enjoyed our pizza and have been back many times since December 2024. The Cauliflower Pizza is just as good as the regular pizza. We enjoy the Italian Chicken Cauliflower Pizza (fresh tomatoes instead of sauce) with fresh mozzarella and basil. Devil's Pizzeria has so many options that cater to an individual's food intolerances and preferences. The pizza is consistently excellent with a thin crispy crust in the NY style. Only one complaint: the sign outside the shop is not easily recognizable as a Pizza place (the big sign says "Pasta and Wings"). We drove by here so many times without knowing it was there until reading about it in Indy. Many of our friends also didn't know it was a pizza place until we mentioned it.

Stopped in for a quick bite. It's your typical hole-in-the-wall pizzeria that reminds me a lot of the small no-frills ones you'd find in NYC. The food was good and the guy behind the counter was professional.

Went to Devil's last week and my experience was heightened by the lively staff. Jen greeted me very kindly and walked me through the menu. She gave me an amazing recommendation and the food came out swiftly. The ambiance of the small restaurant is definitely the reason this will be my go-to pizza spot!! Craving Italian food, but not sure what I was hungry for, I found Devil's Pizzeria where they have a Vegetarian Sampler bowls. So, so good. I also nabbed the fried ravioli. I asked for ranch instead of marinara for dipping. I was happy when I opened the container at home to see the ranch! Finally I devoured the chocolate dipped cannoli! I haven't tried the pizza, but I highly recommend Devil's for the pasta!

Wow! Wow! Wow!! On my way to see Sherri Shepherd comedy tour, we stumbled upon this gem!! It wasn't our intended destination, but good things happen for a reason! The pizza shop is small (similar to NY (#IYKYK), and from the smell, we hoped it was going to be good. I wanted the wings after seeing someone practically sucking the meat off the bones, but I chose their "Signature" Philly Steak. I figured either it will be good or bad - there's no in between. Hubby got a slice and a Jamaican Beef Patty (because it's his favorite brand). He figured the slice would be a normal size slice, plus the patty, he'd have a full meal. The young man taking the orders was very pleasant and helpful. I could visually see the wings coming out of the fryer, as if they were asking me if I was sure I didn't want them! I stuck with my original decision! I am SO GLAD we found this place on a whim!! The food was beyond good! The pizza was reminiscent of NY. The sub....GOSH! The onions and steak were finely chopped, their 'famous house vinaigrette dressing' perfectly seasoned the steak, the provolone cheese was hot, melted, and stretchy; with just the right amount of mayo and lettuce -it was perfection! The fries had that crispness where one was not enough; they were hot and crispy! If ever in this area again, we will return! (Wonder if they ever thought about changing their name to DBD Pizzeria! )

Devil's Pizzeria is a go-to for me. Their pizza is above average (which means top--tier for NC, I'm used to NYC/NJ pizza) and their pasta is great. They are also the only place I know that serves pasta algio e olio, which is awesome. They get the order right every time, and provide nice sized portions. Highly recommend.

I got the meatball calzone and was not disappointed. It was $12 and a ton of food. It was a walk up counter so nothing crazy for environment or service, but that's what I expect for a to-go pizza shop.
